Commemorating this years edition of the World Health Day under the theme “MY HEALTH, MY RIGHT”, has been an outstanding platform for UNIPEDEV to out rightly advocate for individual health regardless of: status, financial or educational prioress and beyond every possible inclinations there could be. As intended by the WHO “This year’s theme was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination”. UNIPEDEV with the aim of Changing Lives through Peace and Development, took to the Streets of Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon, using students from its prestigious institution with quality health education and training to offer free medical checkup and counselling to those available and willing to.
