UNIPEDEV PARTNERS WITH FIGHT FOR HEALTH FOUNDATION TO SPONSOR OVER 70 PUPILS FROM THE HAUSA, MBORORO, AND FULANI COMMUNITIES
The parents of over 70 pupils from the Mbororo, Hausa, and Fulani communities in Old Town, Bamenda received the news with joy that their kids will be attending school for the 2024/2025 school year.
These parents had raised the concern of lack of funds to pay school fees and buy didactic material for their children and were unsure of their participation in school this year.
Thanks to a partnership with Fight for Health Foundation, UNIPEDEV NGO will be funding a project to see over 70 children from Old Town Bamenda attend school for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
According to the Director General of UNIPEDEV, Mr. Tubua Julius, ” This project was not part of the Detailed Implementation Plan of the organization for 2024. However, as part of UNIPEDEV’s social responsibility, they could not turn a blind eye to the urgent need to educate these young ones thanks to a concern raised by Fight for Health Foundation”
